Colorado continues to blaze major trails when it comes to pushing forward with the cannabis movement.
There has been some buzz around news that 15 McDonald’s restaurants in Colorado are converting existing Play Place area’s into cannabis friendly smoke zones called, “smoking pods”. This all sounds too good to be true, but if it is in fact “real news”, could we soon see a McGanja or Bud Mac? – one can dream, right?!
Rumor has it that these “smoking pods” will contain upper ventilation units, allowing the smoke to filter away from the facility and prevent it from reaching the actual restaurant.
McDonald’s projected earnings are expected to skyrocket over the coming years due to the appetite increasing effect or munchies that marijuana users can experience. So, if Mcdonald’s does have a strategy in place to scrap the play area’s and implement marijuana smoking pods, this would be an interesting move for the McDonald’s locations making the transition.
