CBD is hailed as a miracle element of the cannabis plant. Its pain fighting abilities are incredible, and its ability to fight seizures is a godsend for those who suffer from them. But did you know there’s actually two different types of CBD on the market?
The most potent form of CBD is that which is derived from the cannabis plant. The other is derived from hemp, which contains less than 3 percent THC. This is incredibly low compared to its stony counterpart that you see in dispensaries across the world.
CBD oil that comes from cannabis is in much higher concentration and fights pain and seizures with the might of the hulk. It’s derived from the potent buds of the cannabis plant and it contains up to 20 percent of this healing substance. However, Hemp oil has around 3.5 percent and is taken from the stalks and seeds of the hemp plant.
CBD oil is much more potent and has higher healing abilities, whereas Hemp oil is more along the lines of a health supplement. Both are excellent for your health but work very differently due to their difference in concentration.
So, if you’re in pain or epileptic, CBD oil is the way to go, but if you’re looking for some potassium and magnesium, reach for the more mellow hemp oil.
