Evolab has been at the forefront of supercritical CO2 extraction and product development since their founding in Colorado in 2011. Now the scientists behind the scenes are focusing on combining pure cannabinoids and terpenes in their newest offering, CBx Sciences Essentials line. Each formulation from the newest Evolab line of products is designed to better target and engage the endocannabinoid system (ECS).
"Cannabinoids and endocannabinoids are among the most essential compounds for helping our bodies maintain balance and vitality," explained Noel Palmer, Ph.D., chief scientist at Evolab and lead developer of the CBx Sciences Essentials formulations.
Despite the success with whole plant cannabis medicines a lot of companies focus solely on THC or CBD. CBx Sciences Essentials is on a mission to unlock the potential of other cannabinoids like CBG and CBN. Their formulations also use terpenes like beta caryophyllene, myrcene, and eucalyptol. The Essentials Line is comprised of therapeutic topicals that can be used for a variety of conditions and common ailments. All of these products are extracted at a pharmaceutical grade and are free of paraben, gluten, soy, sulfate, phthalate, vegan, and contain no artificial dyes or coloring.
These types of extractions are only made possible by specific genetic breeding which isolates and then amplifies the expression of these cannabinoids. For example, CBG doesn’t remain prominent in most cannabis flowers after the drying and curing process. Genetic modification combined with detailed extraction methods have made topical lines like CBx Sciences Essentials a reality.
The Intensive Salve uses CBG alongside willow bark and other herbs to enhance the healing effects of the cannabinoid. Their Intensive Skin Repair features a 1:1 THC to CBD ratio with terpinolene and eucalyptol to enhance the reversal of wrinkles, scars, blemishes, wounds, and fresh tattoos. Lastly, the daily body oil uses a full spectrum CBD extract for full body hydration and rejuvenation.
The CBx Sciences Essential line of products will be available across Colorado in both medical and recreational markets. New products infused with CBN are scheduled to be released into the new year.Posted: Thursday, December 7th, 5:30am a year ago
