The latest addition to the top 10 food trends list has it all—it's fun, delectable and unlike everything else on the list, it's barely legal. A panel of experts writing for the Specialty Food Association gave the nod to cannabis medicated edibles, like pastries and familiar-looking candies.

Interestingly, the popularity of various edibles seems to be regional. In California, infused foods such as baklava, brownies and chocolate chip cookies are famous. In Colorado, according to a BDS Analytics report, they're all about the candy, with 70% of the candy sales funneling into gummies.
